Skilled Labourer
Job Title: Labourer – Novus Property Solutions
Location
Onsite covering Burton, Lichfield, Nottingham and surrounding areas. Hours: Typically Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
About the Role
As a Labourer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll join a supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality service for clients, particularly in social housing repair and maintenance.
Experience in manual labour (ideally on-site, at height, and in tenanted properties) is preferred, but training—including in Health & Safety—will be provided.
This role offers stabile, long-term work, a focus on work-life balance, and meaningful contributions to improving the safety and comfort of people’s homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting external roofing works, sub-contractors, and site clearance after delivery.
- Demolition & repointing of chimneys; fascia, soffit, and rainwater goods replacements/repairs.
- Ensuring materials meet quality standards and liaising with the Site Manager about stock.
- Keeping site systems up-to-date and efficiently managing material/logistics (e.g., delivering goods to operatives).
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite (including refuse removal).
- Adhering to company Health & Safety policies.

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to mobility requirements).
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
- Preference for candidates familiar with external manual labour, working at height, and social housing environments (training provided for gaps).
