Positive, can-do, roll your sleeves up attitude – sure we want practical skills too, but we can always help you develop those.
Hands-on operatives to support the safe operation and maintenance of biomass heating systems across multiple sites. If you’re practical, reliable and enjoy working in different environments, we want to hear from you.
- Attention to detail — you’ll be responsible for carrying out routine operational tasks safely and ensuring sites are maintained to the highest standards.
- Continual improvement – no one’s perfect but we really want to talk to those who are willing to continually learn and improve. We are looking for results-driven people who take ownership and thrive in fast-moving environments.

Our Biomass Service team supports renewable heating systems across a wide range of commercial and public sector buildings. The team works closely together to ensure systems run efficiently, safely and reliably.

Location: South Lanarkshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00
Salary: Competitive | Depending on Experience
Responsible to: Service & Maintenance Manager
What You'll be Doing
What does the role look like?
- You’ll travel to multiple sites across the South Lanarkshire contract carrying out routine biomass boiler support tasks.
- Safely remove ash from biomass boiler systems and maintain clean and safe plantroom environments.
- Check fuel store levels and report information to ensure fuel deliveries are planned effectively.
- Identify and report faults or issues found during site visits so engineers can respond quickly.
- Support engineers on larger maintenance tasks where manual handling or additional support is required.
- Assist with deliveries and general organisation of the Glasgow (Paisley) store and equipment.
- Collect and transport parts or materials to engineers working across different sites.
- Use company tablets and phones to record site visits and completed work through our digital systems.
- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with site staff including school and facility teams.
- Make use of all the tools, training and support we provide to develop your skills and grow within the renewable energy sector.
