Skilled Machine Operator - Yeo Valley Newton Abbot
We are on the lookout for an experienced Skilled Machine Operator to join our diverse, friendly, and passionate Production Team at Yeo Valley Newton Abbot. This is one of our largest production sites and offers the opportunity to play an important part in helping us to deliver our high-quality products to our customers across the UK. You will thrive in a fast-paced production environment, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, and strong work ethic.
We have positions open on Days shift working 6:00 to 18:00 and Nights working 18:00 to 6:00.
Also, you will become a co-owner at Yeo Valley, taking advantage of our benefits package that includes a non-contribution pension, co-ownership of the company that includes a yearly bonus, and a healthcare cashback plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Embracing Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
- Packing of well-known products.
- Operating a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming, or CNC machines);
- Demonstrating a commitment to delivery, leading by example;
- Completing paperwork accurately.
- Application of current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices);
- Taking apart, cleaning, and rebuilding production equipment.

Requirements
- Experience of Operating machinery (filling, packing, forming, or CNC machines)
- Good communication skills, effective use of numeracy and literacy for documentation and record-keeping
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- A personal commitment to maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts;
- Highly engaged,
- A good team player;
- An ability to work unsupervised.
