About The Role
From Timber to Talent – Where Your Industry Skills Inspire, Support and Carve the Careers of Aspiring Carpenters!
As a Skills Practitioner, you'll be at the heart of our learners' journey, helping to create engaging, hands-on experiences that bring carpentry to life!
You will work closely with staff, students, and industry partners, providing support to learners to develop their skills, build their confidence, and achieve goals. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining a safe, organised, and fully equipped workshop environment where learning can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Here are just a few roles you will lead on:
- Monitor and promote outstanding Health & Safety practices within workshop sessions
- Order, organise, and issue stock and supplies to keep sessions running smoothly
- Assist in workshop preparation
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students
About You
Are you organised, hands-on, and passionate about helping others succeed? We’re looking for someone who enjoys supporting learners in developing practical skills and confidence while contributing to outstanding teaching and learning.

Requirements
- Confident ability to support and guide learners through practical tasks
- Level 2 qualification in Carpentry
- Industry experience in the carpentry sector
- Some experience in General Building
