Main Duties:
- Slinging and signalling for cranes, excavators, telehandlers, and other plant
- Attaching and detaching loads, ensuring secure lifting procedures are followed
- Communicating effectively with crane operators and site teams via hand signals or radio
- Coordinating safe lifting operations in line with lift plans and risk assessments
- Supporting general lifting operations across civils, earthworks, and structural works
- Carrying out pre-use inspections of lifting accessories
- Ensuring a safe working area during lifting activities and reporting any unsafe practices

Qualifications/Experience:
- CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket (A40 or equivalent - all duties endorsement preferred)
- Valid CSCS card
- Safety-critical medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK
- Full PPE
- Demonstrable experience in slinging/signalling on large construction or civils projects
- Familiarity with complex and high-risk lifting operations
- Experience working alongside mobile cranes, tower cranes, and telehandlers
- Clear communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple trades
- Understanding of lift plans, exclusion zones, and working under strict safety protocols
- Previous work on nuclear, rail, or other high-security/high-regulation sites desirable
- SC or BPSS clearance (or willingness to undergo vetting)
- IPAF, telehandler, or other plant tickets
- Multi-skilled (e.g. experience assisting with groundworks or logistics)
