SLLA Weekend Performance Role
Weekend Performance Host at SEA LIFE London
Hours: Weekend shifts with opportunities available. Minimum of 10 hours per week guaranteed. Potential overtime during peak holiday periods.
Contract Type: Fixed-term, 8-month contract.
About the Role
An exciting weekend opportunity for an Actor / Presenter to connect with guests of all ages at SEA LIFE London Aquarium. This role includes delivering entertaining and educational talks, character portrayals, and interactive experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and inspire guests to learn about marine life, conservation, and SEA LIFE’s attractions.
- Deliver entertaining performances, including immersive shows, sea life talks, and themed experiences.
- Act as an ambassador for SEA LIFE, assisting staff, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Supervise daily operations, including Rockpool areas and "Behind the Scenes Tours".
- Participate in feeding, light cleaning, and maintenance tasks under supervision.
- At times, perform in character costumes (e.g., marine creatures, educational roles).
- Ensure guest satisfaction through friendly, informative interactions—answering questions and personalising experiences.

Requirements
- Previous performing experience (theatrical, animation, hosting, or live events preferred).
- Boundless energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to maintain high standards throughout energetic shifts.
- Genuine passion for marine life conservation & education.
- Earned confidence in:
- Quickly learning and delivering scripts.
- Taking and implementing clear direction.
- Comfort performing engaging, interactive, and family-friendly content in full costume.
- Commitment to providing an exceedingly high standard—going above and beyond for guest experiences.
