Hours 21 hours per week
Work Pattern To be confirmed
Hourly Rate £14.12 – £14.27 per hour
Duration Fixed Term until 31 March 2027
Role Overview
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistant (Catering) to join their team at Hamilton Town House.
This role is varied and hands-on, supporting food and beverage operations across the venue, including:
- Weddings
- Functions
- Meetings
- Theatre bar service
Core Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
- Preparing and serving food to a high standard
- Providing comprehensive catering services for:
- Weddings
- Private functions
- Corporate meetings
- Operating and assisting with theatre bar services
- Maintaining high hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Working in a healthy and safe environment
Essential Requirements
- Previous catering or hospitality experience (must have)
- Valid REHIS qualification (essential)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Being newly appointed applicants (previous applicants need not re-apply)
