Operations Officer – Ice Rink
Location: East Kilbride Ice Rink, The Olympia Shopping Centre, East Kilbride
About the Role
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Officer to join their Operations and Estates team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of East Kilbride Ice Rink, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with health and safety legislation.

You’ll lead the management of all day-to-day operations at East Kilbride Ice Rink, ensuring:
- Staff leadership to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Overseeing health and safety compliance, maintaining high operational standards
- Programming activities and events to meet community needs
- Managing local budgets, controlling expenditure and maximising income
- Acting as Duty Manager and contributing to organisational projects
- Covering backshifts, early mornings and weekend work as required
Requirements
- Experience in a ICE rink or related environment (preferred)
- Expertise in compliance settings
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a positive "can-do" attitude
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments while delivering
