About the Role
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team of Lifeguards at Eastfield Lifestyles.
Location: Eastfield Lifestyles, 101 Glenburn Drive, Rutherglen
Hours: 35 hours per week (3-week rota)
Salary Band: £25,767 - £26,041 per year
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Mon-Tues (late shift), Thurs-Sat (early shift)
- Week 2: Tue-Fri (late shift)
- Week 3: Mon-Wed (early shift), Thurs (late shift)
Shift examples:
- Early shift: 6:15am - 2:00pm
- Late shift: 1:45pm - 9:30pm

Key Responsibilities
You will report to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the centre. Primary duties include:
- Supervision of pool activities
- Carrying out cleaning to meet defined quality standards
- Ensuring facilities and equipment are safe and secure, in accordance with centre procedures
Requirements
A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential.
- A first aid certificate and previous experience are desirable.
