SLLC 4934 - Receptionist

Receptionist (Outdoor) – Casual

Location Strathaven Leisure Centre, Bowling Green Road, Strathaven

Hours Casual, as and when required

Salary £13.80 per hour


South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Receptionists to join the team at Strathaven Leisure Centre.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deal with customer enquiries
  • Manage cash handling, receipts, and banking monetisation
  • Operate the electronic booking system

Previous experience in a customer-facing role or till operations is desirable (full training provided). Essential criteria:

  • Excellent communication and customer care skills

Responsibilities

  • Handle cash reconciliation, receipt issuance, and monetary preparation per procedures
  • Assist customers with enquiries, ensuring alignment with South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture’s customer care standards
  • Perform clerical duties to ensure smooth reception operations
  • Promote facility activities, distribute mail, and manage logistics
  • Undertake additional duties as needed
