SLLC 4934 - Receptionist
Receptionist (Outdoor) – Casual
Location Strathaven Leisure Centre, Bowling Green Road, Strathaven
Hours Casual, as and when required
Salary £13.80 per hour
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Receptionists to join the team at Strathaven Leisure Centre.
The successful candidate will:
- Deal with customer enquiries
- Manage cash handling, receipts, and banking monetisation
- Operate the electronic booking system
Previous experience in a customer-facing role or till operations is desirable (full training provided). Essential criteria:
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
Responsibilities
- Handle cash reconciliation, receipt issuance, and monetary preparation per procedures
- Assist customers with enquiries, ensuring alignment with South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture’s customer care standards
- Perform clerical duties to ensure smooth reception operations
- Promote facility activities, distribute mail, and manage logistics
- Undertake additional duties as needed
