THE TEAM
Our Slot Strategy team sits at the heart of how we secure and optimise our airport slot portfolio across Europe. Working closely with Scheduling, Network and Airport Development, the team shapes how and where we grow, analysing airport capacity, market dynamics and long term opportunities.
We also play a key role in slot policy, collaborating with internal teams, governments, regulators and industry bodies to ensure airport access rules remain fit for purpose and support easyJet’s future ambitions.
THE ROLE
As Slot Policy & Capacity Lead, you’ll drive the development of our long term slot strategy, using data led insights to help evolve one of the strongest slot portfolios in Europe. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, analytics and external engagement, influencing both internal decision-making and industry policy.

You’ll take co-ownership of improving our strategic approach to slot planning, embedding new tools, processes and frameworks that unlock future growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of a comprehensive slot strategy for key slot constrained airports across Europe, feeding into the 5-year planning process.
- Building toolkits and frameworks that enable Schedule Planning teams to translate strategy into tactical decisions at IATA slot conferences.
- Analysing airport capacity opportunities and embedding insights across the full scheduling lifecycle.
- Developing data driven tools and analysis to track and forecast airport capacity evolution.
- Conducting detailed airport assessments to identify and unlock growth opportunities.
- Partnering with Airport Development and Network teams to align capacity opportunities with long-term strategy.
- Engaging with external stakeholders including airports, regulators and industry groups to co-develop capacity and policy outcomes.
- Supporting slot policy activity, including consultations, local rule development and committee representation.
- Driving cross functional collaboration to ensure slot strategy is fully integrated across the business.
- Providing analytical support during slot acquisition and negotiation activities.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience working with airport slots, airport capacity and / or commercial and planning functions in Aviation.
- Advanced analytical and data modelling capability, ideally supported by a relevant degree.
- Strong expertise in Excel, with knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- A passion for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Understanding of business research methodologies and strategic analysis.
- Proven ability to lead projects end to end and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple teams and levels.
- A passion for driving forward industry engagement and collaboration.
- Ability to drive process improvement and embed new ways of working.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving environment.
- A curious, innovative mindset with the ability to identify new data sources and opportunities.

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
