Job Description
Crawford are seeking a technical expert to join its dynamic and growing Financial Lines claim team. The successful candidate will be handling a mixed portfolio of complex, high value and global Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Surety and Bankers Blanket Bonds claims. You will be using your knowledge and experience of the claims process and insurance cover to investigate claims, assess losses, report to clients and negotiate settlements.
Crawford provide a cradle to grave service and act for leading Insurers and Lloyds syndicates in the UK and around the world. The role involves client development opportunities as you will be part of growing service area for Crawford.
The role would suit a professional, experienced in claim management either with an insurer or MGA, loss adjusting or providing legal advice within a financial lines environment.

The role is predominately home based, with occasional requirements to attend the London office for team meetings, client liaison and training. Occasional other travel required to service clients and claim demands.
Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse portfolio of Financial Lines claims.
- Investigating, considering and advising on coverage, liability and quantum issues relating to a range of complex, high value and global claims.
- Opportunity to manage claims in other areas including Medical Negligence, Product Liability and Recall and Liability.
- Maintain and build client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
- Ensure all adjusting activities are fully compliant with the company's procedures, client SLAs, published company guidelines and external regulatory requirements

Qualifications
- Legal qualification/ insurance (preferably ACII or ACILA)/ Extensive claims adjusting experience
- Experience in managing financial lines claims, preferably in an insurance, legal or loss adjusting environment.
- Track record of handling a caseload and meeting Client SLAs/productivity/quality demands.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written and preferably experience of report writing.
