Job Description

Salary: £28,142 – £32,062 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time

Location: County Hall, Preston, Lancashire

SLT Support Personal Assistant (Grade 6)

International Sponsorship: This role is not open to international sponsorship

Positions Available:

  • 1 Permanent Post
  • 1 Fixed term until 31/03/2028

Department: Executive Support


We are looking for an organised, proactive, and professional SLT Support Personal Assistant to join our Executive Support function, providing high-quality administrative and personal assistant support to Directors within the Senior Leadership Team.

As part of the Exec Support function, you will:

  • Work closely with senior leaders
  • Support their daily schedule, forward-planning of workload, complex diary management
  • Prepare meeting papers, briefings, and presentations
  • Take minutes where required
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure a smooth flow of information and help maintain high professional standards across the directorate

One post is temporary until 31 March 2027 and forms an important part of the wider Exec Support service, contributing to joined-up support for Directors and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
