Job Title: Small Animal Surgeon - Soft Tissue

Location: Anderson Moores, Winchester, SO21 2LL

Job Type: Part-time (4 days per week)

Hours: 4 days per week (variable) with participation in the OOH/on-call rota, 1 in 4 evenings and 1 in 4 weekends including 1st on call (33%)

We are seeking an experienced board-certified Small Animal Surgeon to join the Soft Tissue Surgery team at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care within a well-established, multidisciplinary referral environment. You will contribute your expertise to patient care, support colleagues where appropriate, and help maintain high clinical standards and strong relationships with referring practices that underpin our service. We are looking for a motivated Diplomate who is committed to clinical excellence, values teamwork, and enjoys working in a supportive, collaborative hospital setting.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You will join three ECVS Diplomates as part of the surgery team alongside a team of around 40 referral clinicians. You will participate in the Soft Tissue referral service, including contributing to the weeknight and weekend out-of-hours service.

You must have excellent English language skills, be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) and be board-certified (ECVS or ACVS).

We accept referrals for Orthopaedic Surgery, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Cardiology, Anaesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and Physiotherapy.

We have comprehensive and established clinical and non-clinical programmes for training, development, and CPD.
