The Role
We are seeking an Project Manager (PM) to join our growing team in Chepstow.
Position Overview
A key leadership role responsible for end-to-end project delivery (from inception to completion) across environmental and engineering projects (10k–1m scale). The successful candidate will:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-standard completion.
- Serve as primary liaison between operational teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee operational sites, able to engage directly with site teams/work managers.
- Uphold compliance with contractual, safety, and environmental standards.

Work Scope
- Site-based across South Wales & Bristol.
- Lead multiple projects requiring documentation, quality checks, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning to handover.
- Monitor schedules/programmes and resource planning.
- Coordinate teams, subcontractors, plant, materials, and suppliers.
- Drive on-time delivery within budget/safety/quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental (regulations/permits), and NEC contracts.
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively.
- Lead procurement and logistics.
- Generate project documentation (RAMS, schedules, QA records, handover packages).
- Conduct haulier management, site quality assurance (QA/QC), and documentation for small projects.

Essential
- Proven Project Manager experience in environmental/engineering/construction/infrastructure.
- Technical and quality management expertise.
- Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving.
- Experience managing operational teams & subcontractors.
- UK driving licence (full).
Desirable
- Competence in environmental works, infrastructure, drainage, utilities, or groundworks.
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS & Temporary Works Qualifications.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation (permits Baltons Board Orange book) and RAMS/O&M manuals.
- NEC contract experience.
- Commercial or site engineering background.
