Chubb Fire & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Small Works Sales Executive to join our Fire and Security team on a fixed term contract for six months. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to try something new on a temporary basis someone who has engineering & technical experience is commercially minded, organised, proactive and motivated by results.

The ideal candidate will be able to commute to our Huddersfield office, working on a hybrid basis.

SALARY: Up to £35,000.00 DoE

What You’ll be Doing as a Small Works Sales Executive

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Regional Service and you will:

  • Drive sales growth by proactively following up small works opportunities within the below criteria
  • Regional no sale on site
  • Regional processing error (Turnback’s)
  • Provide technical & regulation guidance and solutions to meet client requirements ensuring quotations and opportunities are progressed efficiently
  • Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets, with the opportunity to earn target-driven bonus
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations using company systems, including iSales
  • Support the Operations Manager and Head of Regional Service in delivering excellent customer service and commercial performance

What We Would Like You To Bring

We’re looking for someone who is confident, motivated and commercially focused, with engineering and technical experience, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at pace.

To Be Successful, You Will Ideally Have

  • Technical knowledge on Fire and security systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Understanding of UK Fire & Security regulations, certifications like FIA, BAFE, NSI training enhance credibility & compliance knowledge
  • A track record of working towards and achieving targets
