Chubb Fire & Security - Small Works Sales Executive

Chubb Fire & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Small Works Sales Executive to join our Fire and Security team on a fixed term contract for six months. Working between home and your local office, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, following up warm opportunities, and playing a key part in driving regional growth.

As part of a well-established and supportive team, you will be responsible for converting engineer recommendations, small works quotations and customer opportunities into secured sales. You will work closely with Operations Managers, Service Engineers and Small Works Engineers to deliver a smooth customer experience while helping the business achieve its revenue targets.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, organised, proactive and motivated by results. Having some engineering or technical experience would be extremely advantageous.

What You’ll be Doing as a Small Works Sales Executive

  • Drive sales growth by proactively following up small works opportunities, engineer recommendations and customer quotations
  • Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets, with the opportunity to earn target-driven bonus
  • Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact and encouraging repeat business
  • Work closely with the Small Works and Operations teams to manage customer expectations and support the smooth delivery of works
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations using company systems, including iSales
  • Handle queries from customers, engineers and internal teams, ensuring quotations and opportunities are progressed efficiently
  • Support the Operations Manager and Head of Regional Service in delivering excellent customer service and commercial performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, customer engagement and sales processes

What We Would Like You To Bring

We’re looking for someone who is confident, motivated and commercially focused, ideally with some engineering and technical experience, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at pace. To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • A track record of working towards and achieving targets
  • A proactive, resilient and results-driven approach
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Experience in an administration, customer service or sales support role, ideally within a service, engineering or technical environment
  • Fire and security systems and standards knowledge, or a willingness to develop this quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
  • The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Confidence working independently, while also being part of a wider team
