Overview
Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the utilities sector for Smart Meter Technicians. No prior experience is necessary – full training, equipment, and a company vehicle will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the utilities sector. You’ll be working across the local water network installing and exchanging smart water meters and uploading data via a company-issued tablet.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties
- Upload data using provided tablet and software
- Supporting the team on a variety of different projects and initiatives
- Undertaking water network surveys and installations
- Responsibility for the successful delivery of small projects and packages of work
- Working independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments

What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A reasonably clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Must be located within commutable distance to Bath (accommodation not provided)
