Role Overview: Founding SMB Account Executive

As one of Harvey’s founding SMB Account Executives, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth within the legal and professional services markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish new business relationships with small law firms and in-house legal teams.
  • Deeply understand their challenges and deliver AI solutions that transform how they work.
  • Combine a high-velocity sales motion with a consultative, solution-driven approach.
  • Build the foundation for how Harvey wins in the SMB sector and create long-term impact for clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Own your book of business by prioritising warm leads and a named account list for maintaining a high-velocity sales motion.
  • Manage the new business lifecycle, from prospecting to qualifying, validating Harvey’s solution, and progressing to contracting.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets and key sales metrics.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders by understanding their pain points and aligning Harvey’s solutions with their needs.
  • Conduct high-velocity, tailored client evaluations, including product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Collaborate insights from engagements with engineering, product teams, and AI advancements to tailor solutions.
  • Proactively develop strategies, collateral, and messaging to boost SMB team performance, documenting learnings for broader impact.

What You Have

Core Qualifications

  • Proven track record selling complex software solutions, adept at consultative, solutions-oriented, value-based selling at high velocity.
  • Ability to independently lead the full sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Self-managed pipeline abilities with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene.
  • Proficiency leading multi-threaded sales with executive stakeholders, translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Shared enthusiasm for Harvey’s mission, solid understanding of AI’s role in knowledge work, with an interest in the legal profession and improving lawyer efficiency.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills (e.g., product, legal teams) aimed at shared goals.
