SMB Sales Executive (Outbound)

£30,000-£40,000 + £15,000 OTC

Our client, an established live events business with a strong track record of running high-footfall consumer fairs, is expanding its calendar across the full year and is hiring driven, ambitious Sales Executives to join its outbound sales team in London.

In this role you will connect local and regional advertisers with a busy programme of events, identifying and engaging potential clients within defined advertiser categories. You will build real familiarity with common customer needs, objections and buying triggers, while selling across multiple events and locations throughout the year.

This is a dynamic, high-energy position with clear performance goals and strong opportunities for professional growth and commercial success.

What you will be doing

  • Actively source leads from local and regional businesses aligned to your assigned categories and event locations.
  • Build a strong understanding of typical buyer profiles and seasonal demand within your categories.
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-up emails to potential clients, offering them the opportunity to take part in events across the year.
  • Use proven scripts and frameworks to communicate value propositions tailored to category-specific needs, handle objections and close deals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs, including revenue, conversion and activity targets.
  • Log interactions and updates accurately in the CRM to keep data clean, follow-ups on track and pipeline visible.
  • Work closely with your Team Lead and peers to share insights and best practice across categories.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
