About the Team
The SME Outsourcing & Accounting team is a specialist unit dedicated to delivering outstanding accounting, payroll, and tax advisory solutions to SMEs on their growth journeys. With 250+ professionals, the team excel in cloud accounting, financial reporting, and corporate secretarial services while helping businesses thrive through digital and operational excellence.
Our approach ensures compliance, enhances financial visibility, and empowers entrepreneurial clients with tailored expertise.
The Role
Our Corporation Tax Lead will:
- Review and approve corporation tax computations—ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain client relationships—acting as a trusted advisor for SMEs in tax matters.
- Act as the national tax team liaison—training, enhancing the SME team’s technical skills via feedback and upskilling initiatives.
- Drive cross-departmental collaboration—proactively pursuing tax opportunities for clients, aligning with Partners and the wider tax team to deliver strategic solutions.

Who We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience in corporation tax reporting—particularly working with diverse client portfolios.
- ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) or equivalent qualification—as a technical foundation for this role.
- Demonstrable deep technical tax expertise—broad knowledge of UK tax regulations and planning opportunities.
- Business development acumen—ability to identify and nurture growth for tax clients (and beyond service lines).
