We’re excited to be recruiting for our SmokeFree Bromley — and we’re looking for 2 Part Time Smoking Cessation Advisors to join us on this journey working every Saturday and 2 other days in the week.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a service from the ground up and be part of something transformative. You’ll support people who live, have a GP or go to School in the Borough, to make meaningful, lasting changes — empowering them to live healthier, smoke-free lives.
Your interventions may be delivered in person or remotely, and can be tailored for individuals or delivered in group settings, depending on need. In everything you do, you’ll bring compassion, energy, and a strong belief in people's ability to change.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering high-quality stop smoking interventions that are tailored to individual needs.
- Promoting the benefits of a smoke-free lifestyle through community engagement and local events. (Driving Licence preferred but not essential)
- Working within established protocols for NRT, Varenicline and e-cigarettes.
- Providing training and support to local professionals (e.g. brief advice, referral pathways, behaviour support).
- Building awareness of the impact of smoking and encouraging positive lifestyle changes.
- Accurately recording and reporting interventions using electronic systems.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a health or social care setting.
- Knowledgeable about the harmful effects of smoking and the treatments available.
- Skilled in behavioural support techniques, including motivational interviewing.
- Committed to delivering person-centred, empowering support.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable using electronic recording systems.
- A clear communicator with a collaborative, team-focused mindset.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Salary Range (pro rata if part time)
- CGL points 20 to 21 (£26,296.03 - £27,165.10)
- ILW / OLW /Fringe
- Outer London Weighting (£2,250.61)
