SOC Shift Leader
SOC Shift Leader – Hemel Hempstead (Onsite | 24/7 Shift Pattern) We’re looking for a SOC Shift Leader to join a leading consultancy operating at the heart of the aerospace, defence and security sectors.
This is a hands-on leadership role inside a busy, high-tempo Security Operations Centre where you’ll be guiding a small team of SOC Analysts, driving incident response, and helping protect some truly critical environments.
You’ll be right in the thick of it monitoring, triaging and investigating security incidents across complex client infrastructures, while supporting containment, eradication and recovery activities when things escalate.

Alongside leading the shift, you’ll help shape how the SOC operates improving detection capability, tuning alerts, and strengthening use cases using MITRE ATT&CK and threat-informed defence approaches. You’ll also produce clear, high-quality reporting that works for both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who’s been there and done it in a SOC environment, ideally with hands-on SIEM experience (Sentinel or Splunk), strong incident response knowledge, and a solid grasp of networking and enterprise security tooling.
