Social Account Manager (French Speaking) – London (Hybrid)

About the Role

Established in 2004, OLIVER is the world’s first and only specialist in designing, building, and running bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. This delivery-critical role sits at the heart of a high-volume, fast-paced studio environment, managing incoming social content briefs, coordinating across internal teams, and acting as the key client point of contact. As Social Account Manager, you’ll bridge the gap between client expectations, strategy, and content execution, ensuring seamless workflows and flawless delivery.

Based in London (hybrid), you’ll collaborate closely with Social Strategists, Content Creators, Designers, and Data Analysts to streamline processes and drive efficiency and consistency. We support flexible working and welcome diverse working arrangements. To succeed, candidates must demonstrate an intermediate-to-fluent level in both English and French.

Success metric: Smooth, efficient delivery with clear ownership, a cohesive team, and a client that feels confident and well-supported.


What You’ll Be Doing

Day-to-Day Account Management

  • Act as the primary client contact for social content delivery, ensuring clear and proactive communication
  • Define and manage client expectations, raising risks or scope changes early
  • Build trust-based relationships with stakeholders through consistent, transparent communication

Workflow & Delivery Management

  • Own the end-to-end content workflow—from brief intake to final delivery and approval
  • Coordinate across Strategy, Content, Design, and Social teams to ensure:
    • Clear briefs
    • Realistic timelines
    • No bottlenecks
  • Proactively flag blockers before they escalate into delays

Briefing & Quality Control

  • Translate client requests into actionable, strategy-aligned internal briefs
  • Ensure briefs are platform-ready with all necessary details included
  • Quality-check outputs against briefs before client handover

Multi-Market Coordination

  • Manage cross-market content delivery, ensuring:
    • Accurate local adaptations
    • Consistent tracking of market-specific priorities
    • Aligned timelines

Planning & Prioritisation

  • Support weekly and daily content planning, balancing:
    • Always-on output
    • Campaign work
    • Reactive requests
  • Prioritise efficiently in a dynamic environment while aligning capacity and delivery timelines

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Work closely with Social Strategists, Creator Lead, Data Analysts, and clients to ensure:
    • Clear ownership across workstreams
    • No communication gaps
    • Ambitious, realistic next steps

Performance & Feedback Loops

  • Collaborate with Data & Social teams to:
    • Track content performance
    • Embed learnings into future briefs
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by distilling insights into actionable formats

Process & Efficiency

  • Drive workflow improvements, including:
    • Studio approval processes
    • Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Risk and bottleneck reduction
  • Propose practical solutions to keep delivery on track

Budget & Financial Administration

  • Monitor and report on content production spend at a project level
  • Support purchase orders and invoicing (escalating discrepancies promptly)

What You Need to Bring

Essential

  • Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in both English and French (written + spoken)
  • Proven experience in:
    • Account/portfolio management
    • Project management
    • Social or digital delivery (preferably at consumer or FMCG brands)
  • Ability to:
    • Multitask high-priority workstreams
    • Prioritise under pressure
    • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail
  • Agency, in-house, or studio experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to:
    • Manage client expectations
    • Clarify internal workflows in uncertain situations
    • Interpret client needs while aligning with delivery realities
  • Cross-functional expertise—comfortable working with:
    • Creative, Strategy, Data teams
    • Embedded in-house agencies or studio models
  • Experience in multi-market coordination
  • Knowledge of social publishing workflows and approvals
  • Creators/influencer campaign coordination

  • Demonstrated experience with Gen AI-assisted workflows for:

  • Budget and financial admin experience (POs, invoices)
