Social AI Transformation Lead (13-Month Fixed-Term Contract – Maturity Cover)

Location

London, United Kingdom (2–3 days a week office-based with client-facing requirements).


About the Role

This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of technology, creative excellence, and social platform evolution. You’ll bridge the gap between strategic AI potential and practical social team execution, embedding artificial intelligence workflows into OLIVER’s proprietary platform to streamline social operations.

You’ll lead five core priorities:

  • Driving AI tool adoption
  • Designing and building AI agents
  • Developing AI-enhanced workflows
  • Leading innovation and intelligence
  • Building training programmes

Additionally, you’ll serve as an internal and external agent evangelist, selling solutions to clients while protecting and championing human creativity in our workflows.


Key Responsibilities

Drive AI Tool Adoption

  • Lead end-to-end adoption of AI tools across OLIVER’s social operations, simplifying implementation and removing obstacles.
  • Act as the internal go-to expert for our proprietary AI platform and its agents, championing its role as the primary agent-building tool.
  • Case study development to showcase real-world AI value and create clear, actionable use cases.
  • Build adoption metrics and feedback loops to refine strategies and optimize deployment.

Design and Build AI Agents

  • Develop, configure, test, and deploy AI agents for social use cases (content ideation, trend monitoring, community management, reporting).
  • Architect multi-agent workflows that orchestrate autonomous agents in sequence or parallel for complex workflows.
  • Apply prompt engineering best practices such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), tool use, chain-of-thought reasoning, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • Maintain a library of reusable agent templates for quick client configuration and internal efficiency.
  • Share real-world learnings with product and technology teams to shape tool evolution.

Sell and Pitch AI Agent Solutions

  • Lead client discovery sessions to identify avenues where AI agents can deliver measurable value in social operations.
  • Design proposals, proofs-of-concept, and ROI frameworks to show quantifiable business outcomes (e.g., time saved, increased content throughput).
  • Own the end-to-end client journey, spanning scoping, solution design, and deployment.

Develop AI-Enhanced Social Workflows

  • Transform social processes across strategy, content production, publishing, community engagement, and optimisation.
  • Design agent workflow architectures, determining where autonomous execution adds value and where human oversight is critical (including quality control and brand safety checkpoints).
  • Standardize processes for scalability across diverse client portfolios worldwide.

Lead Innovation and Intelligence

  • Monitor competitive innovation landscapes and track emerging AI advancements to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Evaluate new tools and platforms for potential synergies into OLIVER’s offerings and integrate early access partnerships.

Training and Education

  • Collaborate with training teams to design and deliver accessible, jargon-free content on:
    • LLM fundamentals
    • Agent architecture
    • Prompt design
    • Workflow orchestration
  • Create role-specific training paths in social functions and measure effectiveness via feedback loops.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in:
    • Social media strategy and brand marketing (trends, platform dynamics, community management).
    • Implementing AI tools in social operations.
  • Hands-on familiarity with large language models (LLMs):
    • Prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), model limitations, prompt chain-of-thought.
  • Practical experience building AI agents or automated workflows (demonstrable examples required).
  • Skills in multi-agent workflow deployment (roles, tool integrations, memory management, error handling).
  • Track record of leading transformation projects and driving adoption change at scale.
  • Experience evaluating APIs, webhooks, and system integrations (scoping without technical coding).
  • Ability to influence every organizational level (entry-level talent to C-suite).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant formal qualifications (though not mandatory).
  • Experience developing training programs for teams requiring upskilling.
