Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of the social adult day care program
  • Plan and programme in the timetable for the academic year
  • Oversee intake and assessment of new participants, developing individualised care or service plans
  • Supervise and support program staff and volunteers
  • Monitor participant progress and well-being, addressing concerns in collaboration with caregivers and medical professionals
  • Be the first point of contact for parents and or carers to ensure they get relevant correspondence
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, Risk Assessments, care plans, and progress notes
  • Monitor the quality and timely completion of learners PCP reviews
  • Assist in program evaluation and quality improvement efforts
  • Participate in the consistent learning walks at least once per term for every Tutor
  • Ensure staff complete a thorough induction
  • Promote the program within the community to increase awareness and enrolment
  • Plan key events and plan in key dates across the year taking a lead on organisation of events
  • To work as part of the wider Landau management team, providing reports and management information, filling in for other Coordinators where required
  • To provide flexible support and cover where reasonably required, so that service standards are maintained at the highest level, and continuity of service is assured, developing solutions to obstacles, demonstrating a positive approach and team ethos
  • To monitor and review the MIS system Arbour in the department, liaising with the QA team where needed for updates and reviews
  • Regularly review staff CPD, Develop mechanisms for the identification, dissemination and sharing of good practice across the study programme delivery team
  • Act as designated Safeguarding officer (DSO)
  • Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required in the position according to the needs of the business

Skills And Core Competencies

Technical Competency (qualifications and training certificates/licenses)

  • Health and Social care qualification at level 4 or above or equivalent (Essential)
  • Train the trainer (Desirable)
  • Designated Safeguarding Officer training (Desirable)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role (Essential)
  • Extensive experience of managing a team (essential)
  • Experience of working with adults with learning difficulties (Essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC expectations (Desirable)

Hours: 36.5 hours per week

Salary: £30,900 - £36,050 per annum

This is a permanent position
