Social Care Worker (Band 1)
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £12.71 - £14.23
Hours: Short shifts including 1 hour morning visits and 4 hours social shifts
Reporting To: Senior Carer/Package Lead

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Social Care Workers (Band 1) to join our growing team. Whether you are new to care or looking to start a meaningful career in social care, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Social Care Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
- Support people to access education, employment, leisure activities, and their local community.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with the people you support.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
- Work closely with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe environment.

Essential Requirements
- A genuine desire to work in health and social care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of those we support.
Desirable
- Previous experience in care or support work.
- Health and Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Full UK driving licence.
