SALT is supporting a well-known marketing agency working with a consumer brand to bring in a Social Content Lead.
This is a hands-on Social Content Lead role focused on creating engaging short-form content for Instagram and TikTok. You’ll own both the creative execution and strategic planning, working closely with a junior to shoot, edit, and deliver high-performing content, while building out a forward-looking content calendar. The role blends content creation with light strategic oversight in a fast-paced, agency environment.

3+ month contract, Outside IR35
Hybrid working in London (3 days per week in-office + on-location shoots)
£350–£375 per day
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Create and deliver high-quality short-form video content (6–15 seconds) for Instagram and TikTok
- Lead on end-to-end content production including ideation, shooting on location, and editing
- Attend events and on-site shoots to capture engaging, real-time content
- Work with a junior team member to execute shoots and scale output
- Plan and manage a 1-month rolling social content calendar
- Bring creative ideas that drive engagement and platform growth

ABOUT YOU:
- Proven experience creating short-form social content for Instagram and TikTok
- Strong videography and editing skills (mobile-first or lightweight production)
- Experience shooting on location
- Ability to plan and deliver structured content calendars
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on agency or content environment
