Social-First Content Creator Role

A fast-growing, mission-driven wellness company is seeking a creative content creator to own and deliver high-performing digital content across paid and organic channels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creative freedom, executes rapidly, and excels at storytelling that captivates audiences and drives action.


The Basics

  • Position: Full-time, hybrid (2–3 days in London HQ)
  • Remuneration: Competitive salary
  • Background required: No prior fitness/wellness experience—just a strong portfolio of social-first storytelling
  • Team: Joining a large, dedicated Social team to propel the brand’s growth

Responsibilities

Content Creation + Production

  • Lead the full content lifecycle: ideation → planning → shooting → editing → delivery
  • Develop high-quality short-form video content optimized for social platforms (organic & paid channels)
  • Balance speed and scale without sacrificing creative excellence
  • Streamline production workflows, templates, and systems to boost efficiency
  • Leverage AI and tools to enhance output and innovation

Creative Development + Storytelling

  • Generate daily original content ideas informed by platform trends and audience behavior
  • Transform briefs and growth strategies into actionable, watchable narratives
  • Hone a digital storytelling approach that:
    • Stops viewers scrolling
    • Holds attention
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine content themes, formats, and campaign structures
  • Align creative work with business objectives and platform-native storytelling

Performance-Driven Innovation

  • Craft content from inception with conversion goals in mind
  • Continuously refine content based on data, trends, and platform best practices
  • Find the balance between creative risk-taking and commercial success
  • Maintain transparency on content progression (produced → live → performance)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience creating and editing video content for social platforms
  • A gifted digital storyteller with deep insight into:
    • What engages audiences
    • What makes content shareable
  • Up-to-date on social trends, formats, and platform adaptations
  • Thrives with autonomy and creative freedom
  • Proficient in videography and editing, with expertise in industry-standard tools
  • Seasoned at translating briefs and business goals into creative output
  • Strong commercial mindset to maximize content performance
  • Organised, efficient, and adept at managing multiple deadlines
  • Welcomes feedback-driven growth over creative ego
  • Confident in directing contributors or talent as needed
