The Role
NewGen seeks a Social Creative to own the ideation and execution of social content for one of our iconic long-standing clients. This is a career-defining opportunity—crafting impactful, platform-native content to elevate one of the world’s most recognisable brands.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Ideation & Cultural Insight
- Generate social-first ideas tailored to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Leverage cultural insight, platform trends, and audience data to create content that aligns with the brand, moment, and brief.
- Stay ahead of fashion, hashtags, memes, platform behaviours, and consumer shifts.
- Lead brainstorms and rapid ideation with insight-driven, platform-native, and on-brand outputs.
- Convert cultural data into actionable creative strategies.
Content Development & Execution
- Develop high-quality, platform-native content (video, static, copy-led, lo-fi executions).
- Collaborate with studio teams to refine ideas and meet execution standards.
- Critical eye on all outgoing content to ensure thumb-stopping excellence.
- Produce direct content: copywriting, memes, short-form edits, alterations, and social hooks.
- Provide social direction on shoots to align with platform expectations.

Community Management & Audience Feedback Loop
- Engage with communities across platforms, understanding tone, subcultures, and conversation drivers.
- Repurpose high-potential comments/conversations into opportunities.
- Analyze audience sentiment and feedback, continuously improving strategy.
Strategy, Planning & Collaboration
- Enhance social strategies, campaign playbooks, and tone-of-voice guidelines with a creative lens.
- Contribute culturally relevant ideas in client meetings and campaign planning.
- Deliver rapid concepts and creative thinking for pitches/user experience opportunities.
Creative Standards & Ways of Working
- Champion a social-first mindset, prioritising platform suitability over retrofits.
- Maintain rigorous creative standards across reactive and planned work.
- Balance speed and feasibility with deep insight-driven results.
Office Location & Schedule
- Based in Manchester or London.
- Office hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
