Social Creative Lead
£70,000–£80,000
Permanent | London hybrid (3:2)
Three days per week in the studio
An ambitious independent creative studio is looking for a Social Creative Lead to strengthen its creative team and help shape the next phase of its growth.
This is a hands-on role for a senior creative who understands how brands need to communicate today: through ideas that can live across social, content, film, integrated campaigns, brand platforms and always-on communications.
Initially, you’ll focus on a major global healthcare brand, leading social-first content and campaign activity across one of the studio’s key client partnerships. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities to work across a wider portfolio of global brands and sectors.
This is not a role for someone who wants to direct from a distance.
You’ll lead creative responses and key workstreams, but you’ll also stay close to the work itself—writing scripts, shaping narratives, developing social copy, structuring presentations and strengthening ideas wherever your input can make them better.
At times you’ll lead a small team. At others, you’ll work directly alongside an Art Director, Designer or Creator to make the work yourself.
The role
You will:
- Lead creative development across a major global client account.
- Own creative responses and workstreams from brief through to delivery.
- Develop social-first campaigns, content platforms and always-on concepts.
- Turn audience insight, platform behaviour and cultural shifts into relevant creative opportunities.
- Think beyond individual assets to create scalable content systems and long-term creative platforms.
- Write and edit scripts, social copy, creative narratives, presentation stories and strategic rationale.
- Translate complex or technical subject matter into clear, compelling creative ideas.
- Present and sell work confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Work closely with strategy, production, account management, design and other creatives.
- Lead, support and mentor more junior team members.
- Help shape the studio’s creative standards, culture and social-first capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- An accomplished writer, storyteller and presenter.
- Comfortable moving between strategic thinking and detailed creative craft.
- Experienced in developing ideas across multiple platforms, formats and channels.

- Skilled at simplifying complexity without losing credibility or nuance.
- Comfortable leading projects, making decisions and keeping work moving.
- Collaborative, proactive and generous with ideas.
- Ambitious without ego.

Experience across healthcare, technology or lifestyle brands would be useful, but it is not essential.
Why join?
The studio is intentionally small, highly collaborative and ambitious.
It has been built around the belief that great creative work happens when strategy, creative, design and production work closely together—without unnecessary layers or process getting in the way.
This is an opportunity to join at a meaningful stage of growth, where you will have genuine influence over the work, the team, the creative culture and the development of the business itself.
You’ll work alongside curious, talented people who care deeply about craft, take ownership and want to create work they are genuinely proud of.
If you’re looking for a senior creative role that gives you greater influence without taking you away from the work, this could be an excellent next step.
