Content Creator Lead – Beauty Brand (Contract)

Overview A leading beauty brand is looking for a Content Creator Lead to drive its social media presence and bring culturally relevant, high-impact creative to life across platforms. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who can lead content production end-to-end—from concept through to execution—while acting as a visible and authentic face of the brand. You will create compelling, social-first content that elevates brand storytelling and ensures the brand stands out in the cultural conversation.

Contract Details Duration: 6-month Contract Location: SW London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Reporting to: Senior Brand Manager Rate: £200-£250 a day (outside IR35)

The Role As Content Creator Lead, you will be the creative engine behind the brand’s social output, producing engaging, platform-native content across TikTok and Instagram. Embedded within the brand team, you will shape visual storytelling from initial concept through to final edit, capturing both planned campaign content and reactive, in-the-moment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Lead the creation of original TikTok and Instagram content from concept to final edit Capture high-quality content at shoots, events, and brand activations in real time Contribute to creative ideation and planning, developing visual concepts aligned with campaign strategy Re-edit and repurpose existing content to keep output fresh and engaging Support briefing for creators and ensure consistency across content production Collaborate closely with brand, social, and UGC teams to align on content needs and timelines Stay ahead of platform trends, editing styles, and storytelling formats Balance workload across content creation (60%), ideation (30%), and posting/scheduling (10%) Act as a cultural ambassador for the brand, capturing standout moments and bringing creative flair to all outputs

About You 3+ years’ experience as a social-first content creator, videographer, or visual storyteller (ideally within beauty) Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, trend awareness, and brand aesthetics Proficient in mobile-first editing tools (e.g. CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom) Experienced in shooting and editing content for TikTok and Instagram in fast-paced environments Confident both behind and in front of the camera Strong understanding of content that resonates with Gen Z and Millennial audiences Highly collaborative, with experience working closely within brand teams Passionate about beauty, social culture, and creative storytelling
