Creative Team (Art Director + Copywriter) – Social First
£45k - £60k
3 month FTC
Starting w/c 3rd Aug
We're looking for an established Art Director + Copywriter duo who put the audience first, with the bold thinking to help reshape how a major organisation talks to the public. We're ideally looking for a team who's already worked together and want to come in as a pair.
Our client is looking for native social thinking paired with genuinely big ideas, a team who can think at scale while staying fluent in what actually works on specific social platforms. We're after creatives who are innovative and experimental by instinct and who push an idea further and don't like to settle for the obvious version.
As a Conceptual Team, you'll invent the big ideas behind social content and campaigns, taking subjects that could easily feel flat or official and turning them into stories and visuals people stop for on their feed. This goes well beyond executing a brief; you'll be shaping angles from scratch, together, with a sharp focus on the hook that grabs attention in seconds and the visual that makes people stop scrolling.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll do
Working in tandem, you'll shape ideas from the ground up, building concepts that hold up whether they're running as paid ads, organic posts or creator content. You'll write copy and scripts that read naturally out loud, and sketch, board and mood-board your way to a clear visual direction, both flexed to fit each platform, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, whether that's a caption built to spark conversation or a totally different visual treatment for a polished piece versus a scrappy trend. You'll bring pitch decks to life together, one crafting the story, the other the visuals, to help convince senior decision-makers to back braver ideas. You'll also stay closely involved through production and the edit as a pair, protecting both the script's intent and the visual vision through to final delivery.

What you'll bring
A strong combined body of work in social-first campaigns; we want to see your hooks, headlines and visual thinking together, not just polished output. You'll have an established working relationship as a creative pair, developing concepts for social or integrated campaigns, with the tonal and visual agility to switch between serious and empathetic, sharp and playful, scrappy and authentic, polished and cinematic. You'll both be fluent in internet culture; trends, formats, memes and editing styles; likely from time spent in agency or newsroom-style environments. Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills (for the AD) and sharp copy instincts (for the CW) are essential, along with confident joint deck-building in Slides or PowerPoint.
