As our social housing business continues to grow, we're creating a new opportunity for a Key Account Manager - Social Housing to join our team and help shape the future of this important market.
This newly created role has been designed to provide additional support and business continuity within our Social Housing team. Working closely alongside our National Social Housing Manager, you'll gain hands-on exposure to key customer relationships, national frameworks, procurement processes and sector strategy, whilst developing the skills and experience needed to progress in your career.
About the Role
As Key Account Manager - Social Housing, you'll play an important role in supporting and growing our presence within the social and affordable housing sector. You'll work alongside the National Social Housing Manager to maintain existing business, identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships with housing associations, contractors, procurement frameworks and other key stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious account management or business development professional who understands the social housing landscape and is looking for a long-term career path within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and growth of our social housing business across the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with housing associations, local authorities, procurement frameworks, contractors and developers.
- Manage and develop customer accounts, supporting both retention and growth.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through networking, market engagement and proactive account development.
- Support the management of national frameworks and strategic agreements alongside the National Social Housing Manager.
- Attend customer meetings, framework reviews, exhibitions and industry events.
- Monitor market activity, competitor developments and emerging opportunities within the sector.
- Prepare account plans, maintain opportunity pipelines and contribute to business reviews and forecasting activities.

About You
We're looking for someone who has a genuine understanding of the social or affordable housing sector and is excited by the opportunity to learn, develop and progress. You'll bring:
- Experience within the social housing, affordable housing or wider construction sector.
- Knowledge of framework agreements and public sector procurement processes.
- Account management, sales or business development experience.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively across teams.
Whilst experience within the bathroom, plumbing or construction products industry would be advantageous, it is not essential. We are more interested in candidates who understand the social housing sector and can build trusted customer relationships.

Location
This is a home-based role; however, to support customer engagement and national travel requirements, our ideal candidate will be based within the Manchester, Liverpool and Stoke-on-Trent region. A full UK driving licence is essential, and the role will involve regular travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
