What you will be doing
Environmental Sustainability
- Compile environmental data on the companies’ impacts and report these as appropriate to internal and external stakeholders to comply with environmental laws and legislations. Reporting includes, although is not exclusive to, WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and utility data.
- Support the team on developing, promoting, and delivering projects around reducing Ricoh UK’s carbon footprint and offsetting initiatives. Projects include working with our supply chain, internal interested parties, and our customers.

Social Innovation
- To champion, coordinate and promote internally and externally Community Investment throughout RUK, including employee-led volunteering & fund-raising as well as corporate donations.
- Create, promote and facilitate nationwide volunteering opportunities for our employees to take part on.
- To support CR strategic partnerships with community and business groups/organisations (e.g., Business in the Community and The Princes Trust)
- Annually report on Ricoh UK’s social input, output and impacts that we contribute towards our communities.
Governance and miscellaneous
- Facilitate internal and external audits of our ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Management Systems by ensuring dates are calendarized and interested parties are allocated with appropriate information in advance of the audit.
- To coordinate, support and advise a virtual team of regional ESG Taskforce members that are key internal stakeholders that can promote, support, and deliver Ricoh UK’s ESG strategy.
- Compile annual reports/presentations and KPIs on ESG activities including efforts towards sustainability, community investment and corporate governance.
- Creation and submission of written responses regarding Ricoh’s ESG initiatives in support of bid/tender responses and/or stakeholder queries.
You will ideally have
- A-level or equivalent
- Excellent communication & presentation skills, both written & oral.
- Ability to present and influence at senior management level
- Being able to motivate & influence people without having direct authority
- Ability to establish and maintain credibility with stakeholders, internal and external
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to collate and analyse data to produce clear recommendations for management action.
- Numerate / business background with a high level of computer literacy.
