Job Title: Social Media Account Director Location: A mix of office-based (Ringwood, Hampshire – 3 days p/w) and WFH (2 days p/w) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are a multi-award winning, PR, marketing and social media full-service agency, based in Hampshire. Located in Ringwood, on the Hampshire/Dorset border, we are relentless in the pursuit of results for our clients - devising and implementing both strategic and creative PR, social media and marketing campaigns that drive enquiries, sales and build brands and reputation on a regional, national and international scale. We have an excellent opportunity for a strategic, confident and creative Account Director, with a specialism in social media, to join the team.
Role overview The successful candidate will be a real all-rounder who can think big and still deliver on the detail. You’ll be a self-starter and able to run your own accounts with bags of drive, energy and commitment.
Your day-to-day role will cover all social media channels, including paid and organic. An understanding of social media’s impact on GEO AI would be beneficial. You’ll be confident at presenting strategic plans to clients and experienced in managing several accounts at a time. We need someone with an eye for detail who can see campaigns through from start to finish. You’ll be given a lot of responsibility and will be able to shape the role as you progress.

Key duties Social media management: Strategic planning – paid and organic Understanding and continually developing social media KPIs, reporting and tracking methodologies – benchmarking and ROI Building and developing audiences Developing creative and engaging multimedia content Managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Posting/scheduling Setting up, managing and in-depth reporting on paid programmes Monitoring channels and in-depth and detailed reporting Audience engagement planning Campaign direction Competitor tracking and insights Social media asset design skills and editing would be beneficial Able to represent the agency at client and new business meetings - taking briefs, developing them and then confidently presenting back fully costed-up/budgeted strategic programmes Understanding and use social media expertise to the benefit of clients Creative storytelling across a wide variety of channels Identify and form relationships with key sector influencers globally Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients Copywriting – social media content, general messaging Working closely with the wider team to help deliver fully integrated campaigns that are creatively excellent Understanding clients’ marketplaces and applying that thinking to cutting edge, results-driven campaigns Identifying new business opportunities – both organic and new An understanding of GEO AI would be beneficial including social media impact such as LI

Key requirements & skills · In-depth understanding of social media and how this fits into wider digital and marketing disciplines · At least four years’ specialist experience in social media (including social media management) · Excellent technical social media skills and understanding · Expertise of using and delivering social media campaigns for clients · Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas · Excellent team working and collaboration skills · Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple accounts
