Help us engage a wider audience by complementing our existing social media strategy with creative content that will drive service users to and promote our website.
What difference will you make?
Your input will make a radical difference to the amount of traffic driven to our new project website. It will transform how we present ourselves to our service users, stakeholders, funders and general public and make the project that much more sustainable.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer who
Is proactive in carrying out the tasks required Has a basic understanding of climate issues Has at least 3 years experience of writing and editing marketing content across all platforms Has at least 3 years experience of building strategies to increase social media following Has at least 3 years experience of creating content calendars to help plan social media activity Has the ability to quickly understand the needs of our organisation Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Understands the resource constraints of a small charity and can work within these

What will you be doing?
We are an educational charity engaged in providing summarised, comprehensive and free information about plastics pollution, helping to bridge the gap of misinformation to create action, inspire, drive conversation and collaboration in an impactful way. We have a social Media manager in place working mainly with LinkedIn.

Help extend our LinkedIn presence to other platforms Include content so that we can effectively promote our current project Produce examples of fresh and engaging content for our social media channels Produce regular content across a wide range of social media in support of our blogs and newsletters
You will be working with one of our trustees who will provide any background material you will need.
