Social Media & Content Creator
Job Title: Social Media & Content Creator
Location: Novatus HQ - 2 London Wall Place, EC2Y 5AU Work Model: Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day WFH Flexibility: Flexi-hours with core collaboration time
About the Role
Novatus is a RegTech SaaS provider and boutique advisory practice, enabling financial services firms to solve complex regulatory, data, and operational challenges through expert-led technology and consulting.
Our Saas platform, En>ACT, (ensuring more accurate, complete, and timely reporting), is a market-leading solution for regulatory transaction reporting and reconciliation, providing real-time, independent oversight of transactional reporting across global regulatory regimes.
Crafting engaging content that bridges complex regulatory and financial technology topics for our diverse stakeholders—from RegTech specialists to executives.
This is a hands-on creative and delivery role focused on:
- Video & asset creation
- Social media management
- Visual storytelling
- Brand consistency & engagement
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Video Production
- Create high-quality short-form and long-form video content for:
- Social media campaigns
- Events
- Brand marketing
- Film, edit, and produce:
- Interviews
- Thought leadership
- Event coverage
- Company culture & product marketing
- Design engaging social-first assets for LinkedIn
- Capture and produce live content from:
- Webinars
- Conferences
- Company initiatives
- Edit graphics, visuals, presentations, and branded creative assets
- Repurpose:
- Long-form content into social media-friendly formats (e.g., bite-sized clips)
- Webinars & podcasts for social trails
- Stay ahead of trends in social media formats, storytelling, and platform best practices
Social Media Management
- Own and manage the social media calendar (with a focus on LinkedIn)
- Develop and publish aligned LinkedIn content tied to:
- Branding
- Product launches
- Regulatory updates
- Commercial initiatives
- EngagementManager: Track goals, optimise strategy based on metrics (e.g., follower growth, interactions)
- Thought leadership collaboration with:
- Leadership team
- Regulatory experts
- Product teams
- Create B2B/RegTech-tailored copy for campaigns
- Test new formats:
- Short-form video (Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- Carousels
- Founder/department-led content
- Thought leadership series
- Grow reach & visibility through targeted campaigns (e.g., awareness, lead generation)
- Optimise performance via analytics, tracking, and audience insights

Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyse social media performance (e.g., impressions, clicks, shares)
- Deliver regular reports with actionable insights
- Engagement trends
- Content effectiveness
- Use data to refine content strategy for higher achievement
Brand & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Brand guardian: Enforce consistency across all social/visual assets
- Maintain & evolve brand guidelines & digital presence
- Partner with Regulatory & Product teams to ensure accuracy in complex content
- Support employer branding, recruitment marketing, and culture narratives (with HR/People)
- Amplify company announcements across internal communications to boost engagement
- Assist with event content capture (e.g., expo coverage, speaker interviews)
Requirements
Experience & Skills (Essential)
- 1–4 years in:
- Content creation
- Social media marketing
- Multimedia production
- Proficient in video production skills (filming, grading, voiceover)
- Video editing expertise with tools like:
- Adobe (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Canva / CapCut
- Social media management experience:
- Content calendars
- Multi-platform scheduling
- Community engagement
- Strong analytics grasp:
- Tracking metrics
- Informing content strategy
- Graphic designer with branding eye – tools: Adobe Illustrator/Fotor (or similar)
- Attention to detail in messaging accuracy and tone
- Translates complex topics into engaging visuals/audio
- Fast learner/self-starter thriving in a growing scale-up
Desirable (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience in B2B SaaS, Fintech, or RegTech industries
- Employer/recruitment branding content creation
- Photography or event production skills
