Social Media Content Creator

Freelance / Part-time | Soho, London | very flexible hours / days

WHO WE ARE

Century Club is a private members club perched above Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of Soho. Irish-owned and fiercely independent — we work exclusively with independent producers, independent makers, and independent thinkers. No multinational brands. No noise. No mainstream.

We are entering a new chapter.

THE ROLE

This is a freelance content creator role with real ownership — not a brief-taker position. You will shape and deliver Century's digital identity across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

We run a busy events programme and you need to be in the room when it matters. Beyond that, we care about output. If the work is excellent and the numbers are moving, we give you the space to work how you work best.

You will work directly with the senior leadership team.

This role has genuine scope to grow as the business grows. For the right person — particularly someone with design and branding capability — this becomes something bigger.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Full content strategy and calendar — built monthly with the leadership team, executed entirely by you
  • On-site photo and video capture using iPhone (professional camera a strong plus)
  • All copy: posts, captions, and LinkedIn ad content — your voice, our tone
  • End-to-end management of Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Audience growth — follower count and engagement are core KPIs
  • A clean, maintained content library
  • Monthly performance reporting with clear growth metrics

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-4 years in content creation, smart, social media, or a creative role — hospitality, members' clubs, or lifestyle sectors strongly preferred
  • Exceptional eye with iPhone photography and video — Reels, Stories, carousels; you know how to make a phone feel like a camera
  • Natural instinct for atmosphere and timing — you know when to shoot and when to step back
  • Strong copywriting — confident, warm, culturally fluent, never try-hard
  • Proven Instagram growth track record. Numbers matter here.
  • Experience running or supporting paid social, particularly LinkedIn
  • Branding and design background — not essential, but it opens the door to a higher rate and a bigger role
  • Self-directed and organised — you manage your own deadlines without being chased

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

A feed that makes someone stop and think: I want to be there. An audience that skews creative, independent, and mid-thirties — the founders, the makers, the cultural operators who call Soho home. Content that feels discovered, not produced. A digital identity that is unmistakably Century.

THE PACKAGE

Interesting performance-based package to be negotiated. Candidates with design, branding, or professional camera capability will be considered at a higher rate. The role has real scope to grow.

TO APPLY

Send us your portfolio. We want to see the work — specifically: Instagram accounts you have grown, content you have shot on iPhone, and anything that shows us you understand atmosphere. A short note on why Century is the right fit is welcome, but your work speaks first.
