About EraseMe
EraseMe is a UK-based digital privacy and online reputation company. We help everyday people take back control of their online presence by finding, auditing and requesting the removal of unwanted personal data, outdated content and sensitive material from search engines, websites, social media and data-broker databases.
Our clients come to us for all sorts of reasons: a cleaner digital footprint, a career change, protection from online harassment, or simply a fresh start. We work discreetly and ethically, and we genuinely care about the people we help. It's meaningful work, and it makes for great content, because privacy is something everyone can relate to.
About the role
We're looking for a volunteer to help create content for our social media and website. It's a relaxed, flexible role of roughly 3 hours a week, done whenever suits you, so it fits easily around studies, another job or other commitments.
Week to week, you'd be creating simple, engaging content to raise awareness about digital privacy and share what EraseMe does. That might be short posts and captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok, a bit of light graphic design in Canva, ideas for the blog, or keeping an eye on comments and messages. You won't be thrown in at the deep end. We'll show you the ropes, share our brand style, and give you feedback as you go.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is a great fit if you're perhaps just out of university, or looking to move into marketing and content, and want real, hands-on experience to point to. You don't need a polished CV or years behind you, just some social media know-how, a bit of creativity, and a willingness to learn.
What you'll be doing
- Writing clear, engaging posts and captions for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok
- Creating simple graphics and visuals using Canva or similar tools
- Turning digital privacy topics into content that's easy to understand and interesting to read
- Helping plan content and spot trends worth jumping on
- Keeping a light eye on comments and messages, and helping with community engagement
- Occasionally looking at basic analytics to see what's working
What we're looking for
- Some experience creating content for social media, even if that's just your own accounts, coursework or a previous volunteer role
- A bit of creativity and an eye for what makes a post worth stopping for
- Comfortable writing clearly and to a friendly, professional brand voice
- Willing to learn about digital privacy and online safety (no prior knowledge needed, an interest is enough)
- Reliable and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Basic Canva skills are a bonus, but we're happy to help you learn
