About the Role

ROCKWOOL Racing is looking for a Social Media & Communications Manager to lead the team’s outward-facing voice across social, content, and communications.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, elite-sport environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the platform visible, relevant, and commercially valuable throughout the season, from live race-weekend content to partner campaigns, press announcements, hospitality communications, and audience growth.

Social and communications sit at the center of the team’s commercial engine. The role is not just about posting content; it is about building narrative, growing an owned audience, delivering partner value, and making ROCKWOOL Racing and SailGP feel like one coherent story across sport, technology, hospitality, and commercial programs.

Purpose of the Role

The Social Media & Communications Manager will build awareness, engagement, and audience growth across the platform, while supporting partner delivery and commercial storytelling. The role will help turn the team’s existing 970,000+ ecosystem reach into a more active, measurable, and owned audience, working closely with CRM, design, commercial, and event operations.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Channel Management

  • Own day-to-day management of the team’s social channels, including strategy, publishing, campaign execution, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Develop and manage the content calendar across race weeks, partner campaigns, team announcements, and between-event storytelling.
  • Grow reach, engagement, and audience quality across all relevant platforms.

Communications

  • Draft and coordinate press releases, partner announcements, executive communications, internal updates, and other outward-facing communications.
  • Support the team’s approval process for public communications, ensuring speed without sacrificing accuracy, professionalism, or brand control.
  • Assist with sensitive or crisis communications where required, working within the agreed approval structure.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
