Role Description
This part-time Social Media & Creative Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Greater London, with flexibility for some work from home. The specialist will plan, create, and publish content across key platforms, ensuring it reflects fjör’s brand voice, visual identity, and skincare philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Organic Social Management
- Lead organic social media strategy across Instagram and TikTok - define content pillars, posting cadence, audience insights, and performance benchmarks
- Plan, create, and post content across Instagram and TikTok (with emerging platform expansion as appropriate)
- Manage posting schedule and community engagement (comments, DMs, responding to enquiries)
- Monitor social analytics and report on performance monthly, including audience insights and content trends

Content & Graphic Design
- Design social templates (carousel graphics, product posts, carousel series, campaign assets, video assets)
- Create email design templates and graphics (working with Klaviyo; design only, not email strategy)
- Create website design templates and graphics (working with Shopify; design only, not website strategy)
- Maintain and evolve brand visual asset library in line with fjör's minimalist, scientific aesthetic
- Adapt assets for different platforms (aspect ratios, format optimization)
Video Content Production
- Create and edit video content in CapCut (reels, TikToks, short-form videos) - shoot, edit, and produce original videos plus editing from raw footage and user-generated content
- Coordinate and manage user-generated content (UGC) - collection, rights, editing, and repurposing
- Support creator gifting logistics (asset preparation, tracking, follow-up content collection)
Collaboration & Operations
- Collaborate with paid social agency - share performance data, provide creative input, ensure consistency between organic and paid
- Manage brand asset versioning and ensure compliance with fjör's brand guidelines across all content
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, with the ability to plan and execute campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing, including basic understanding of analytics, audience targeting, and campaign performance.
- Excellent Communication skills, with clear, inclusive, and brand-aligned writing and visual storytelling.
- Background or strong interest in beauty, skincare, or wellness, with the ability to translate product benefits into engaging content.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling and analytics tools; familiarity with basic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, mobile editing apps) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a part-time schedule, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid Greater London-based environment.
- Prior experience in a social media, content, or creative role is preferred; relevant education or training in marketing, communications, or design is an advantage.

This is a hands-on role at a growing startup. You'll report to the Brand & Strategy Lead and collaborate closely with the rest of the team.
