Head of Social Media
Manchester
Our award-winning client is looking to find a brilliant Senior Social Media Account Director or Head of Social Media to join their growing Manchester team. If you’re someone who lives and breathes social, thrives in fast-paced creative environments, and knows how to lead teams to deliver standout work — this could be a perfect fit. You’ll be the driving force behind the development and delivery of innovative, high-impact social and influencer strategies across a diverse client portfolio.
In a nutshell 🥜🥜
- Leading the creation and execution of best-in-class social and influencer campaigns
- Owning strategy across platforms — ensuring everything is optimised for reach, engagement, and performance
- Guiding and inspiring the social team to produce impactful, on-brand, culturally relevant content
- Working closely with the creative studio to keep ideas fresh, brave, and aligned with client goals
- Staying ahead of social trends, platform changes, and emerging tools
- Analysing metrics and shaping strategy to keep clients competitive in a fast-moving digital landscape
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted strategic partner

About you
- Deep expertise in Social Media Marketing and SMO, with a track record of scaling campaigns
- Strong content strategy experience — you know how to map out clever, compelling plans
- Confident communication and PR skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders
- Proven experience leading teams and managing major accounts
- A mix of creativity and commercial thinking, with bold ideas and solutions
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, behaviours, and trends
- Experience in PR or marketing agencies is highly desirable
