Role Overview

Savills is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Social Media Executive to support our busy Social Media team for a three-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for social media, content creation, and digital marketing who is looking to develop their career within a leading global property brand.

Working across multiple business divisions, you will help ensure social media content is published efficiently, maintains high quality standards, and aligns with platform best practices.

Team Overview

Key Responsibilities

Content Management & Scheduling

  • Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook and other social media platforms.
  • Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure timely delivery of social media activity.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather content and supporting assets.

Content Review & Quality Assurance

  • Review property and business content submissions to identify the strongest opportunities for social media.
  • Assess content against social media best practice, audience relevance, and platform suitability.
  • Check content for accuracy, brand consistency, spelling, grammar, and tone of voice.
  • Review and edit video subtitles and captions to ensure clarity and professionalism.

Presentation Development & Stakeholder Reporting

  • Support the creation, formatting, and refinement of social media performance and strategy presentations, ensuring insights are communicated clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Creative Content Development

  • Assist the team with content creation by supporting storyboard development, creative ideation, and the production of detailed briefing and style guides to ensure consistency across campaigns and content assets.

Basic Content Editing

  • Perform simple image and video edits using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar platforms.
  • Crop, resize and optimise visual assets for Social Media channels.
  • Support the creation of simple social graphics and promotional assets.

Team Support & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates on content pipelines, upcoming activity, and publishing schedules.
  • Monitor Social Media channels and flag opportunities, trends, or issues to the wider team.
  • Assist with basic reporting and performance tracking.
  • Support wider Social Media initiatives, campaigns, and projects as required.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Teams and Canva.
  • Understanding of major social media platforms and their different audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications, social media or digital role.
  • Experience using social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite or Sprout Social advantageous but not essential
  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills are desirable.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram best practices.

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work 3 days in the office; 2 remote.
