Social Media Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Executive to join our growing Marketing team. This is a primarily office-based role, with regular travel to client sites for content capture and meetings. The role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a flair for storytelling, and enjoys driving digital engagement that delivers results.

With strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a proactive mindset, you'll take ownership of client social media platforms, creating content that inspires, informs, and converts. The role involves regular site visits to client locations, where you'll capture photography, video, and behind-the-scenes content to support social media campaigns and wider marketing activity. You'll work closely with the Head of Digital on crafting social-first strategies and our Marketing Account Managers while also using your initiative to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client social media accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging, on-brand content tailored to each client's objectives.
  • Attend client site visits to capture high-quality photography and video content for social media, blogs, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and edit social-first content, including short-form video, reels, stories, and photography assets.
  • Monitor social platforms daily, ensuring timely responses and proactive community management.
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and social media best practices.
  • Adapt content to match the unique tone of voice for each client.
  • Track, analyse, and report on KPIs to measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Deliver detailed reports on social media activity, campaigns, and website performance.
  • Bring fresh, innovative ideas to enhance client strategies and meet business goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
