Social Media Executive
Social Media Executive – Join the Marketing Team at John D Wood & Co.
About the Role
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all John D Wood & Co. and associated brand social media accounts
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies for business units
- Capture engaging content:
- Shoot and edit high-quality, on-brand visuals and videos for all social media platforms
- Develop campaign concepts:
- Brainstorm and execute creative ideas for social media campaigns that resonate with our audience
- Be camera-ready: Represent the brand by confidently appearing in social content when needed
- Schedule posts:
- Manage posting calendars and ensure timely content delivery across all platforms
- Maintain and update profiles:
- Keep social media profiles polished, relevant, and reflective of the John D Wood & Co. brand
- Monitor trends:
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends to keep content fresh and competitive
- Review progress and report against key channel metrics and targets (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc as required)

- More than 2 years’ hands-on experience in a marketing role
- Experience running successful social media campaigns from conception to execution, either at an agency or fast-paced client-side environment
- Editing videos and scheduling posts experience
- A team player and self-starter comfortable:
- Working autonomously in a small team
- Fitting into a large-scale organisation
- Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to take initiative and seek responsibility
- Strong enthusiasm and motivation to achieve
