Social Media & Marketing Executive - card & payments industry

Location: Remote working, with event travel as required
Experience: 2–3 years
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Reporting to: Operations / Commercial Team

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and highly organised Social Media Executive who is ready to take the next step into a broader marketing role.

You will lead the day-to-day social media activity for our client across the UK, Middle East and US, whilst gaining hands-on experience across campaign management, content creation, email marketing, websites, branding and international events.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has built a strong foundation in social media and now wants greater ownership, commercial exposure and experience across the wider marketing mix. You will join a small, entrepreneurial team where your ideas will be welcomed and your work will have a visible impact on event entries, sponsorship, attendance and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media and Content

  • Manage and grow our social media presence across all regions, primarily through LinkedIn
  • Create engaging, timely and on-brand posts, graphics and campaign content
  • Develop social media calendars around key event milestones
  • Promote award entries, sponsorship opportunities, table sales, speakers and winners
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach

Marketing Campaigns

  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Create campaigns designed to generate entries, sponsorship enquiries and event bookings
  • Coordinate messaging across social media, email, websites and partner channels
  • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure marketing activity supports revenue objectives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
