Social Media Executive – Start-up Creative Social / Influencer Agency
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

The Role
This Social Media Executive position is ideal for someone with a significant passion for social content—you’re hands-on, platform-savvy, and genuinely excited by the frontline execution of campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Social Media Manager in campaign execution, content creation, community management, and reporting across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Focusing on execution over strategy—you’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to tackle tasks like:
- Editing short-form videos
- Managing posting schedules
- Conducting trend and competitor research
- Supporting influencer collaborations
- Ensuring that every campaign meets a high standard

What You’ll Do
- Support the development of creative, trend-driven content ideas and strategies.
- Create and edit viral-worthy short-form video and photo content tailored for each platform.
- Manage posting calendars and maintain a consistent, brand-aligned voice across channels.
- Engage with communities, promptly respond to comments, and foster organic growth.
- Coordinate with creators, manage outreach, and deliver influencer activation projects.
- Conduct platform-specific trend and audience research to enhance content strategies.
- Generate monthly performance reports with actionable insights for improvement.
- Assist with content shoots, event activations, and production logistics.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and optimise content efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management or content creation, with agency experience required.
- Hands-on expertise in creating and editing short-form social video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Proficiency in using editing tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Canva
- Ability to manage multiple projects—working under deadlines while ensuring consistency in quality.
- Deep knowledge of platform trends, algorithmic best practices, and engagement-driving strategies.
- Organisational skills and proactiveness in prioritising work.
- Strong written communication with a sharp eye for detail.
- A true passion for social media, culture, and content creation.
