2026 is set to be another significant year of growth with our public events in double-digit growth and multiple new brand partnerships and high-profile clients coming on board.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a passionate individual who is eager to make an impact in the Marketing team as a Social Media Executive. You will own Threshold Sports’ social channels, leading on content creation and digital storytelling to grow an engaged community and bring our events to life. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sport and storytelling, and is excited to help promote our mass participation public events portfolio which include:
- Threshold Trail Series (Race to the Stones and Race to the King)
- Endure24
- Endure Relays
- Ride Cymru

Your main tasks
You will help shape and deliver day to day social activity, working closely with brand ambassadors and partners, and creating content and social campaigns that support audience growth and ticket sales. You will also collaborate with the Marketing Manager on the wider content strategy, CRM, website updates, and integrated campaigns. You will:
- Plan and manage the annual social media calendar, aligning with key campaigns, live events and audience growth goals.
- Create and publish engaging, always-on content across social channels, including on-camera video and strong written storytelling.
- Capture and share real-time content and communications on event days, supporting wider marketing activity on-the-ground.
- Identify, onboard and manage influencers and brand ambassadors, creating authentic partnerships that extend reach and relevance.
- Work closely with partners (e.g. SportsShoes.com, Vaga, Macmillan) on social campaigns and track performance.
- Support website updates and CRM sales communications.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across all touchpoints.

Your profile
- Experience managing social channels and planning content to build engagement and grow audiences.
- Comfortable creating social-first video and photo content, with strong writing skills.
- Familiar with digital tools such as Excel, Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and CRM platforms (e.g. Mailchimp); Adobe a bonus.
- Good understanding of social media performance metrics and reporting.
- Able to contribute to strategy and share ideas and plans clearly.
- Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including working remotely.
What we offer
- Salary: £25k - £30k per annum
- Bonuses: Potential for performance and company-related bonuses
- Holiday: 28 days (inc. bank holidays) plus time off between Christmas & New Year
- Pension: 5% employer contribution
- Office Location: Brighton, UK
- Reporting to: Marketing Manager
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Flexible working:
- Remote working: 3 days a week in the Brighton office as a baseline
- Flexible hours: 9-5 pm with flexibility for early or late start
- Extended breaks: Flexible time during the day to exercise or take time out
- Additional Holiday: Option to buy additional holiday at a discounted rate
- Time off in lieu: 1 extra day off for every weekend day worked on event
- Extended remote working: E.g. option for working abroad
