Location: Leeds, UK (In-person/Hybrid) or Remote
Duration: 6–8 weeks (Flexible)

About Kyoto Network

Kyoto Network is a sustainability consultancy working with organisations across environmental management, ESG, carbon reduction, climate innovation, and sustainable development. We help businesses and governments create meaningful environmental impact through innovative sustainability solutions.

We're looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help us grow our digital presence and communicate sustainability in engaging, accessible ways.

What You'll Do

  • Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social platforms.
  • Design graphics and social media carousels using Canva or similar tools.
  • Write compelling captions aligned with Kyoto Network's brand voice.
  • Research sustainability trends, ESG news, climate innovation, and environmental topics.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling content.
  • Brainstorm new campaign ideas to increase engagement.
  • Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong written English and communication skills.
  • Interest in sustainability, ESG, climate action, or environmental topics.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
  • Knowledge of video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Previous social media or marketing experience.
  • Understanding of ESG or corporate sustainability.
